The Intervention section of the abstract Amiodarone reduced ventricular fibrillation or arrhythmic death in MI with frequent ventricular premature depolarizations (1) should read as follows: 606 patients were allocated to amiodarone, as loading dose of 10 mg/kg daily for 2 weeks followed by a maintenance dose of 300 to 400 mg daily for 3.5 months, then 200 to 300 mg daily for 4 months, and then 200 mg for 5 to 7 days per week for 16 months. 596 patients were allocated to placebo.
